We act as your external R&D team, from identifying opportunities to launching manufacturable products.
Whether you come to us with a concrete problem or no product idea at all, we help you define where value can be created, and turn that into a product your brand can own.

Research
Not every project starts with a clearly defined problem. When it doesn’t, we actively look for it.
If no clear product direction exists, we research the market, analyse trends, study competitors and identify unmet user needs. This allows us to define where a product can create real value specifically for your market, your users and your brand.
When a problem does exist, we break it down completely by defining constraints and design drivers that will guide every decision moving forward.
Outcome: a clearly defined problem and a solid foundation to design from.

Concept
Once the problem is clearly defined, we move into ideation.
We generate concepts through sketching, quick prototyping and structured ideation techniques. These are quick and rough concepts, used to explore different directions.
The concepts are tested and discussed with the client, allowing us to select a concept to move forward with.
Product
With a defined and agreed concept, we move into the product phase. Here, the concept gets refined, tested and finalized.
Through iterative testing, we validate functionality, proportions and usability, while already considering materials and production methods.
The outcome of this phase is a fully developed product, ready to be further engineered for production.

Production
In the production phase, we make the product ready for manufacturing. We adapt the design to fit chosen production methods, whether it’s injection molding, machining or sheet metal.
We create technical drawings, coordinate with manufacturers and ensure the product is feasible at scale.
By the end, the product is production ready.
